My mom and I really enjoyed our times at every one of our assignments. They all had their good and bad parts but all in all we enjoyed ourselves, got some stuff done for the rangers, and even learned a thing or two while we were there. We are not big hikers, kayakers or even environmentalist but we do enjoy the history and the quiet at most of the places were worked. We cannot stress how important it is to each of these public land areas that they have dependable, reliable, and hard-working volunteers.
