Combined and Improved Site jolenemac455, February 25, 2021May 23, 2022 Hello, and happy February everyone. We have combined and improved this site by adding all the posts and pages from our Southern Ladies Adventures website. We still own the domain but will not be using it for a little while. This site we have opened to the public will eventually be posting workamping reviews and information for all the volunteer workamping positions within the state of Florida on public land areas. Website Updates Please take a tour of the website as things have changed somewhat. We have included new icons on the site with our social media and email information as well as on the sides of the pages. The news feed has a listing of all of the parks we have reviewed as camping spots on the side. The information may be a little dated but things have not changed all that much in most of the parks. You can subscribe to our news feed by clicking on that widget on one of the pages. We hope you will subscribe, like, share and comment on ALL of our social media accounts as well. Again, we have shut down the Southern Ladies Adventures website, Facebook page, Instagram Page, Twitter Account and changed the Youtube Channel name and information over to Workamping in Florida. We have done this to decrease our writing projects and to concentrate on what most of our readers want to know anyway. That is how to get workamping assignments in Florida, what are some of the jobs you have to do as workampers, and what are some of the great benefits? These questions and more we hope to answer soon. https://swconlinestore.com/product/dark-green-and-orange-crocheted-4×6-water-bottle-holder/ What We Are Working On Now With all the privacy, health, and other types of concerns popping up all over the place we have been informed that we have to obtain special permission to film within the parks and talk to the volunteers and park personnel. The biggest group of public land areas, of course, is our Florida State Parks. I have been looking for direct phone numbers and/or email addresses of the Volunteer Coordinators for each of the districts but have not had any luck with that online nor on their website. I have sent in an email to their general information requests email but have not heard anything back in 2 weeks. So, I guess I will have to start playing phone hopscotch tomorrow to get some answers. Wish me luck! Insiders Guide to Campground Hosting in Florida Parks If you are a current volunteer workamper in Florida and would like to share your insights into the public land area you are volunteering for, the accommodations they provide workampers, hours required, time limits on assignments, and whom to contact we would be love to hear from you soon.
