Holiday Travel and Seasons Greetings

Holiday Travel and Seasons Greetings

Posted on December 12, 2021December 12, 2021 By Jolene MacFadden

Traveling during the holiday season has always been a norm for most of us around the world. Whether we wish to spend time with our friends and family at home or we wish to get away from all the hustle and bustle and enjoy some peace and quiet somewhere. A trip to go skiing or snuggle down with a good book next to a roaring fire in the mountains would be sweet. We hope that wherever you roam you travel safely and arrive at your destination in good health. For those coming to Florida for the Winter – Welcome, keep your social distance still, but volunteer when and where you can. Our parks and public land areas are open and could use some great workampers.

We also ask that everyone try to be a little more patient this holiday season. The past year or so have been hard on all of us. This time of year we would hope that everyone will take it slow, give what they can to charity, help someone else ‘just because’, enjoy the food, music, special movies and lovely lights. DO NOT stress about gifts. If you can buy or make something for your loved ones, great! It DOES NOT have to be extravagant or expensive just thoughtful. And finally, support small businesses all year long!

We really appreciate our readers. Please SUBSCRIBE, LIKE, SHARE and COMMENT on all of our social media pages as well as this website. If you have questions or want to send us a review of your own workamping experience here in Florida please use our CONTACT US form.

See ya around the campsite!
