Workamping Means More Than Cleaning Bathrooms

Workamping Means More Than Cleaning Bathrooms

Posted on June 22, 2022July 24, 2023 By Jolene MacFadden

Workamping can mean a whole lot more than just cleaning bathrooms and campgrounds. It can also mean that you are working, running a business, etc. while you are camping. We all know that Work Camping generally means that you get a free use of a campsite with utilities in exchange for a set amount of hours worked for that particular organization. That can mean public land areas, a farm, a vineyard or just be a care-taker and guard on someone’s private property. After your site obligations are done you are free to visit local attractions, enjoy the local flora and fauna, and you can have another job that you do online.

Staying Connected Very Important On The Road

Having a reliable access to a good internet connection is so important these days whether you are working on the road or just living in your sticks-n-bricks saving up for your road trip. There are numerous reviews of the current products on YouTube, on Facebook Groups and even on TikTok today. If you are on your own adventure we hope you will let us know what your social media handles are so we can follow and like your posts. Of course, if you are dreaming, saving and working towards the traveling life then go ahead and follow those who are already doing it to get ideas for yourself.

Start Your Own Social Media Channels

If you haven’t begun your journey you can still start your social media presence to gain followers who would like to share in your journey along the way. There are quite a few out there and yours would be unique to you and your experience. Starting at the beginning of the process gives you time to build up an audience. Who knows you may even get enough participation to begin earning extra money from these channels! You can never have too much money “On the Road”.

We would love to hear from all of our fellow Workampers out there wherever you are roaming. Sign-up up for Subscribe To my Newsletter (I am still working on the content), tell me all of your social media and website pages and I will follow, comment, like and share your stuff too!.
