Sebastian Inlet State Park For the Summer

Posted on May 21, 2014 By Jolene MacFadden

SebastianInletBrownPelicanSorry Folks about not posting the last two days! We have been busy here at the Woods Ferry River Camp trying to get everything ready for the upcoming weekend. Our camp and Anderson Landing are now opened for reservations, however, the other 4 are not, yet. So we have been painting, sweeping, blowing off sand and leaves and cleaning all the sleeping platforms to get ready for Memorial Day Weekend.

Anyway, we just heard from Sebastian Inlet State Park and they are looking for volunteers this summer and next. We have always wanted to visit there, camp there and now even would like to volunteer as campground hosts. Sadly, we have already accepted assignments from now until the end of October next year. But if you, a family member or friend has an RV or travel trailer and would like to spend the summer at one of Florida’s beautiful beaches we hope you will consider volunteering at this Florida State Park. Who wouldn’t want to spend their summer vacation at a great place on the beach? And volunteering as a campground host gets you a FREE campsite in return for your service.
